The place I used for MoTs for many years, located between Bath and Bristol, has packed up after the owner retired. He was very fair and knowledgeable, being Old School. He understood my classic bikes (No! They were never designed to stop like a MotoGp machine) and wasn't interested in going for a thrash up the road (just needed to be sure about the suspension sir) on my superbikes. I'm near Corsham, so any suggestions or recommendations around that area would be very welcome.

Everyone has their own viewpoint; Phoenix or Bike Aid in Trowbridge, D & H Bath, Phil Stokes Westbury. All have done MOT's for me over recent years. All have been fair and understand the older bikes we own and our modern bikes too (oldest is 1933 newest is 2017)
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

I used Bike Treads in Swindon last year, first time using them and they seemed good.

I've used Bike Treads for the last two years with my VFR. Book online, usually their last slot of the day so I pop it down after work. Sit around for 20 minutes and job done.

I've always taken mine to Steve Lynham , hand over your bike "Ready" for inspection , never had an issue , have a cup of coffee on the house and ride it away with a ticket . Would recommend .

Since we moved to Chippenham 12 years ago, i've used Paul Cridge in WB, plenty more on my doorstep, but Paul goes the extra mile, and a fairer tester you will never find http://www.cridgeautos.co.uk

My ol' girl passed this morning with 2 advisories.

Front pads and rear tyre - seems I did a lot of miles last year.
I only have one vice…I lie.
