On the 18th of June 2010 members of Gloucestershire Association of Scooterists will be embarking on a journey of epic proportions when they attempt to ride Vespa scooters around the coastline of mainland Britain. The journey is approximately 2700 miles long and we intend to cover it in just 8 days. they will be covering this distance by A roads and will probably need to ride for between 8 and 12 hours a day to hit the deadline.
Day 1 From Stonehouse to Bridport in Dorset via Lands End
Day 2 From Bridport to Gt Yarmouth
Day 3 From Gt Yarmouth to Berwick on Tweed
Day 4 From Berwick to John O Groats
Day 5 From John O Groats to Oban
Day 6 From Oban to Broughton in Furness
Day 7 From Broughton to Tenby
Day 8 Tenby to Stonehouse
Rob Harding, Paul Harris, Mark Willams and Tim Porter will be riding with Dave Workman and Lee Marks providing the essential support vehicle carrying camping equipment spare parts etc.
They are raising money for a school called The Shrubberies that caters for children with special needs and is essential to the local area.
Fraser's of Gloucester are helping Rob and his team with sponsorship and support running up to departure and would ask that any one who can help out with any thing they can.

Fraser's own Victoria Fraser has teamed up with Heart FM's "Have a Heart"(reg Charity No.1091657) campaign to Trek across China, Vicky is looking for support in her charity trek along the Great Wall of China. She will be trekking for 10 long, hard days over some of the most inhospitable terrain imaginable without the luxury of a comfy bed, duvet and shower at the end of the day in the hope of raising at least £6,000
Have a Heart for its first year will be focusing on building a better future for the children living in our community, those who are vulnerable, face adversity, are living with disability or illness and are deprived of the childhood that every young person deserves.
Have a Heart will specialise in funding local grass roots projects making a difference together to make a better life for our children.
None of this can be achieved without your support an sponsorship to help Vicky help Heart to make those plans reality.
If you have any questions or would like to make a donate or help with any trekking kit needed please contact Victoria Fraser on 01452 306485 or Joanna Howarth at Have a Heart on 0870 2028000.
