Only had two bikes, Aprilia rs125 and now my first big bike

i like it, not saying its the greatest bike ever but throw some sticky tyres at it and it really does well.

i have to agree with ladyridercymru, aprilia know what they are doing.
Personally, got to be a Kwack, always been ahead of the game. Firstly the Z1 in the 70's, the Z900 and my particular favourite (cos I've got 1) the GPz1100 unitrac. Later I would agree with the GPZ900R, had 1, loved it, but it was water cooled and I prefer air cooled bikes.
Well if I had a choice of bikes maybe this one
There is only one bike without an engine ;D
For me it's my current ride a Triumph Sprint ST 1050. Lovely looks, more chuckable than my limited ability can handle, an awesome engine and last but not least a glorious triple roar ;D
From the past I would have to say a Yam RD350LC and a Hesketh V1000
For me, just has to be the Gixer Thou K5/6 for it all round stupidity with a stomping engine in a package that was lighter than my SV..... and they made it look like a tube of toothpaste Love it!
I am a tad baised though :
For me it is the Indian Chief or the Honda 550 Four (my first bike back when).
I my humble opion
Triumph Bonneville T140!
Only improved if put in a Norton Featherbed frame, clip-ons, Manx tank, rear-sets, megaphone exhaust, etc! 8-)
Must dash off now as I need a rub down with a damp edition of the Radio Times!!!! :-[
Y2k...road legal bike that goes quicker than an F14 jet...ooooooooh yes LOL
got to be two already mentioned, laverda jota coz my neighbour had one when i was growing up, awesome sound at 6 in the morning woke me up every time!! and the fact that we where up till 3 am one morning rebuildin the engine so it could be ridden all the way to the laverda factory in Italy!! and a Yam RD350 LC ypvs just such an iconic bike of that era sums up what it was all about back in the day. today tho i havn't got a fav not yet anyway, maybe after my DAS in june perhaps!
