Thanks for the posts,but I forgot to say they are textile ones. I took them to a little shop just by Artdeans in swindon today. They will shorten them for me for £25.

Yeah, will do that. They said they should be done by the 20th, but I'm away on holiday tomorrow until 23rd, so won't be picking them up until the Monday. I'll let you all know how they turned out. Probably wear them to the Lysley that night if they're okay.
