Hello and welcome, you're never too late, as I can testify!! Congratulations on Mod 2 pass. Look forward to seeing you on a rideout soon!
Hello Wendy......and welcome from a serial 'dropper'...hehe
I did my test on my 125 too last year (at 44 yrs old lol) and I was forever dropping my bike. I now have a 500 and still have the occasional drop lol....so much so that I now carry a spare indicator lens, screwdriver and tape under my seat just in case. I even bulk buy spare lens's so I always have a supply.....so please dont worry, you are not alone....I'm in double figures with my drops hehehe.
We are a very friendly, supportive group especially with 'L' platers and novices.....if it hadnt been for most of the people on here I would have given up a long time ago.
Keep an eye on the forum for our novice friendly rides (which happen quite often) and tag along....so many of the 'better' riders keep an eye out for us newbies which helps build confidence and experience.

Hi and welcome to WB and i can only echo what Beamer says [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Welcome Wendy
I have met some lifelong friends on here and despite the fact I may have to give the bike up they are always on at me to goto meets and have a natter ( something I must do or I'll never hear the last of it)
Don't worry about taking the test on a 125 as in 2 yrs time you can ride anything you like and will have that couple of yrs experience
Hi Wendy,
Welcome!
46 is such a good age! (Now you know my age)
I've got back onto Bikes after a twenty year break - and after the first ride I had to have the grin surgically removed!
Don't worry about drops - I dropped my bike a couple of times when learning however, I soon mastered slow manoeuvres on a big bike - as with everything worth doing 'practice does make perfect'.
I originally intended the bike as a cheap alternative to a car - but oh boy, have I got the bug already!
Enjoy your riding and regard every one on the road as a complete numpty and you won't go far wrong.
Hello wendy welcome to WB
