Saw the bike on the way to the h&c out the corner of my eye (someone else had stopped I believe) and its still there now! Couldn't see it properly but it didn't look very good lying on the grass verge!
Hope he's ok and heels soon

Yea was me. I'm Ok other than bumps and bruises. Stiffening up good and proper now. Another SMIDSY - even admitted I front of police, yet the driver coming towards me saw me a mile off. Bike is a wreck but I'm in one piece. Now waiting for royal mail to actually notify their insurers of the incident (something they still hadn't done at 5pm-the accident gapped at 10:30) got a feeling the depot manager >is making sure the drivers story is correct..... >

Glad to hear you're relatively unscathed - rest up, get the insurance sorted and get back on a bike again.
