Probably not high on peoples list of priorities today but I had some info on this and thought I'd share it in case it's of interest to anyone.

If you are under 30 years old and live or work in the BANES catchment area, the council is offering to refund the IAM Skills for Life fee for the first five who pass their IAM test in the next 12 months.

WaBAM (Wilts and Bath Advanced Motorcyclists) are also offering an under 30's refund for people under 30 years of age at the time of purchasing a Skill for Life from the IAM if they train with them and pass the Advanced Motorcyclist test.

(Do check with IAM/WaBAM first to make sure the offer still applies before you sign up as I dont know how long this will be on offer)

Sadly I dont qualify as under 30 but did my advanced test late last year and found it of huge benefit. It really isnt all boring old men riding BMW's (not that I have anything against old men or BMW's )
