I've been saying for years the Isle of Wight would make an epic race track or concentration camp. I got it half right

Actually think this is really cool, hopefully the Ferry doesn't increase price by 500% for the races though.

After all the fuss over the new road race that was mooted in Wales a couple of years ago I’ll reserve judgement and believe it when I see it - it’ll be great IF it happens, but I shan’t hold my breath...

They’ve cut off two of the most fun twisty bits of military road which is a shame.

Am on the IoW at the mo on hol and most of military road has been resurfaced, it’s stunning even in the car.

That's s pity but hopefully means that the 'unofficial' lap record that I set on a trip there on my Enfield a few years ago, 12.7 mph I recall although that did include several stops for cream teas, still stands and it gives me time to download a few new PowerComander maps in time to defend the record next year

Hopefully it retains enough of a head of steam to happen in 2022 was looking forward to this one.

    Not a surprise really.

The Classic TT was announced as cancelled yesterday too

I'm still convinced they've got the route wrong, they're missing out half of military road and the amazing bends coming in to Shanklin! At least now they have a year to rethink
