Just got the bike out of the garage to give her the once over to make sure she is ready for the new year ridding.
Looked at the normal stuff and saw that I had a white oil window, checked the oil filler lid and saw white on this, so it look like I have water in the oil.
Now do we know if this might be due to the fact that she has been sat up in the garage since just before christmas, or will this mean I have a gasket gone??
Could I do a oil/filter change and this might cure it or will I have to have a look at the heads??

It could be like you said -just that it's been stood for a while. I'd give it an oil/filter change and take it for a blast...see if it comes back or is ok

may just be condensation of the engine casing tends to happen if engine not started at regular intervals.just make sure u warm the engine before u drain the oil or u will not get rid of all the condensate

Sounds like a plan as my commute used to be 50 miles each way, now it is 4 miles each way.

That could be your problem... 4 miles might not be enough time for the oil/condensation to heat up fully and disperse. You need to do a longer run to sort it out. Just a thought.

Ps. The meat in a salad comes from the slug or cattipillar on the letuce leaf!!! Hmm! Protein!
