Noticed a wee bit of noise whilst out on it this weekend and as im flogging the bike want to get it all ship shape for whoever decides to buy it. How easy is it to do it yourself? Can someone knock me up a quick idiots guide and could i screw the bike up if i do it wrong.......i know it's cheeky but if anyone fancies helping me out there'll be a slab of beer in it

If you are just wanting to replace the tensioner it appears to be a straight forward job with no special tools needed. The worry is if you allow the chain to slip on the cams major damage to valves & pistons can ensue with the need for a full top end strip & rebuild costing £££. Firstly is this work neccessary? and have you got a manual? check check & check again the timing before starting the bike. If you need some help or want to discuss give me a call 07795 266230.

Take a read of this it may help you decide:
