    Hello,
On the fun trip to work this morning the speed when from reading correctly to only showing about a small fraction of my speed also the ODD was only increasing inline with the need speed shown.
I would guess that this is a sensor problem as it is showing some speed.
If any one has had a similar problem advice on correcting the problem would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    David.

Is it a mechanical speedo or a digital one? A friend of mine had a digital dislay that was doing what yours was. Triumph reinstalled the firmware on his ECU and worked a treat. Could also be down to a battery that hasnt got its full charge apparently. I just had my Triple re-mapped yesterday and it cost £10 so not an expensive job!

just a thought have you had the front wheel out as i have found if you over tighten it can brake the speedo sensor and a new sensor is just over £100

It is a digital speedo. Had the ECU re-mapped today but no joy so it looks as if it is going to be the expensive option. had the front wheel off about a month ago for a new tyre, all good for 1500 miles but not now.

When they did the map did they check for any fault codes?

It was the speed sensor it self so the expensive option.
