    hey yall! does anybody know how far apart the rear indicators have to be to pass an mot? I've built mine into my rear light, looks factory but they are only 175mm apart inside edge to inside edge.

    I'm not an expert on MOT's by any means, but as far as I'm aware the position of the indicators aren't tested as such.

    This is what google found...

    The precise position and angle of visibility of direction indicators are not part of this inspection, but they must be on each side of the longitudinal axis of a solo machine

    What I do know is that if you've done one of those brake light/indicator mods then that is a failure on an MOT (where the brake light is split and one or more parts act as an indicator)
    Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

    i'll upload a vid if i get chance tomorrow when its day light. see what you think. they do flash red at the moment which i know is a failure but when my new clear lense led light comes it will work the same but with amber indicators showing.

    Didn't say is was THE best MoT manual, just the best I've ever found. Very easy to use and informative in my opinion. :P
