Marlborough, last Sunday (20th) around 10:20 with a load of other bikes at the East end of the square, turning towards Newbury on the A4?
I was en route to the Mudeford ride rendezvous, spotted you as I rode past, didn't have time to wave (you may not have recognised me anyway!)

Yep.
That sounds like the WABAM rideout (to Brooklands museum in Surrey).
There were about 25 bikes.

I normally nod at other bikes, but got behind a bus at that point so was busy concentrating on where the group was heading.

Think I saw you today too, was on the A4 just after the cross road and traffic lights out of pickwick before the roundabout with McDonalds. I was following you for a bit before you headed up toward the M4

I never seem to see anyone when I'm out and about, maybe I should slow down then I may have the nerve to open my eyes.

No wasn't me.
I was out on my Bike but I would have been in Calne about that time.
Went down to bovington tank museum with ROSPA and it rained the entier time - got completely soaked.

No it wasn't me.
I have a monster 1100 at the moment (very similar looking to the 696) and it's my 3rd loan bike, but I wasn't around that area today.
