    Moan time!!!!

Am trying to insure a £200 pound car as a second car whilst the mini is off the road. Have been driving for nearly 12 years, never had a smash, never been done for speeding etc, in full time employment....

and the sods want a fortune!!! £700 Third party!! How do they calculate these things??? Am getting p*ssed off with searching!

    Jon,
Can you not have a chat with your present insurer and get "tempory" cover on it till the mini is back up and running?

Have you searched for fully comp?
This might sound an odd suggestion, but there aren't that many companies that do TP or TPF&T anymore so you might not be getting a good choice.

As Simon suggests see if they will transfer cover although you will want the mini insured for theft if it's valuable.

If you use companies sites use a false email and phone number otherwise you'll get spam.
