    Anyone know of any decent bike salvage yards in the area?

    especially ones that sell CAT C write offs



    i have a cunning plan hatching 8-)

    Not sure if they do bikes but Richard Noon over Thruxton way was really helpful for car bits.

    Don't know anyone myself but found these guys in Gloucester:

    my bike came from SWS in Gloucestershire, I used to a lot of business with them on the car side and they have a few motorbikes that are cat C or D etc that need just a tiny amount of work.

    Mine wasn't CAT D just to clarify!

    used to deal with a guy called George as Bikes were his thing, but the guy who owns it is an ace bloke and loves his toys so is always easy to talk to, his names John.

    Bike hut near Bristol tend to have a few project bikes, or maybe bikes direct in bristol, they have a whole floor of damaged stock, but they can be a bit pricey. Worth a look tho!
