Well Rob and I have managed to get out over the holidays an after xmas trip down to zig zag hill.......those bends are bloody tight. Then we had a local run out in the sun just 40 miles round some local roads but it was a good start to the new year.

Anyone else managed to get out and brave the cold?

I went to Swansea for Christmas by bike and got out a couple of times - Gower has some fantastic scenery, but it was just too cold and icy to risk any interesting roads. I'm looking forward to a return visit in warmer weather - perhaps we can do a group ride to Verdi's to meet the Knab Rockers one Sunday.

Still, the winter light made some moody photos.

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”

Great pics. Gower has some good rides but it gets a bit crowded in the summer.

I don't think I could afford one - I hear that leases for similar huts in Langland (the next bay along from these at Oxwich) go for more than £12,000

True - fortunately the summer traffic queues aren't much of a problem on a bike
