    A MOTORCYCLIST died in a collision on the A429 this morning.

    No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which took place just after 5am, near the village of Stanton St Quinton.

    The road was closed for several hours while a crash investigation team inspected the site and motorway traffic was diverted away from the road.

    Wiltshire Police spokesman Sam Edwards said this morning the man who died is not believed to be from the area, but they are not certain at present.

    The roads are expected to remain closed until around 11am.

    Just heard it on the radio on my way back from college, never nice to hear about things like this rip.

    The Police are appealing for witnesses saying if any one saw the Black and Orange bike to contact them.
    Always bad to hear this sort of news.
    There was also a crash on Sunday at the traffic lights in Corsham A4 Biker was riding a Yellow Bike but make unknown that was about 11am
