Still A few spaces left to improve your Skills for FREE !

Cheltenham & Cotswold Advanced Motorcyclists and Frasers of Gloucester are offering a chance to snap up the last few spaces on the training session on May 15th at British Energy, Barnwood, Gloucester. remember a course like this would normally cost around £30 so it worth trying your luck to be one of the last places.

This will be the perfect opportunity to fine tune slow riding and slow manoeuvring skills, in a safe, car free controlled environment.

There will be a qualified Observer manning each exercise to help and coach the participants through each task, there is plenty of run off area if anyone gets a wobble on... better than dropping a bike!

    Planed exercises:

U - Turns < 5 mph feet up right and left turns in a standard width road (8m). Visual, machine control, balance techniques explained.

Controlled braking - from 30+mph avoiding lock up, what to do if it locks up? How to apply brakes, body position, proportionate brake pressure.

Swerve exercise <30mph, emergency object avoidance, counter steer, peg weight and vision skills

Slalom - a line of cones 4 metres apart, passing alternately L&R, counter steer, body position.

Figure of 8 - feet up, Visual, clutch & throttle control , rear brake & balance skills

Low speed balance - simulates arriving at a give way junction. L&R turns, it's about machine control and looking where you want to go - not directly ahead

These are all real world day to day things on a bike, they are designed to be challenging , but perfectly do-able with practice and that's what this is all about.

Food and refreshments will be available on the day

    LAST PLACES LEFT.

so if you are free on the 15th of May and can be at the British Energy Overflow Car Park, Barnwood, for 9:30AM then drop us an email and if you are one of the lucky last few then you will be meeting up on the 15th to brush up on those valuable skills courtesy of Frasers of Gloucester.
