Have to admit that i have always wanted a soft-tail but after some research last year realised it was going to cost me around £12,000 for a half decent 2nd bike and about £8,000 to make it a rideable decent bike lol.
Anyway got chatting to a local harley mechanic who said he could build me a harley from scratch for 12-15 thousand with decent non-harley parts so basically i would get a harley that isnt a harley lol.
What i learnt from all this lol is if i want a cruiser i will buy the new triumph thunderbird 1600...what a harley should be but isnt.

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.”
