Just a quicky, do we riders have to pay a toll charge?

No just approach the barrier slowly and wait for them to open it, you have to go to a manned booth obviously

I always stop at the gate to make sure. once watched a guy get taken off his pan euro because he assumed the barrier was staying up after the car ahead of him went through.

There are signs up which clearly say motorcycles must stop. They have always been there and were there yesterday!

to be honest I have never gone across the bridge on the bike, I always go round....

Going over the bridge on a bike is good fun when the wind gets up.....

does anyone know if they have cameras on the bridge keeping an eye on the traffic, i MIGHT have been naughty once going across the bridge on my unicycle............

Yes they have traffic cameras. There to keep and eye on congestion and check for accidents.
