    Hi all .. just wondered if anyone has purchased or seen these small LED bike/trike marker lights before ? Was thinking of getting them for my mudguards .. cheers 8-) [http://www.bikevis.com/motorcycle-le...-lights.htmlb][/b]

    they are not cheap though, are they?

    a couple of 12v LEDs and some bits and bobs for £15!

    something could made up for at most a fiver, from a component supplier (maplins, maybe, altho they are not the cheapest)

    The price £15 is for a pair .. and they come with the mounting templates and wires .. i thought it was cheap just to light up my mudguards .. let me know if you know where i can get LED marker lights cheaper please ;D

    bare in mind a 12v white led probably costs 10p wholesale - £15 is one hell of a mark-up, though i do agree they have ironed out the wrinkles with this kit.

    Go to your local maplins and take a look at the LED display, some of the latest LED-tech is pretty cool.

    Depending on brightness of the L.E.D, supplier etc, a white L.E.D. can cost about £3 plus V.A.T, wholesale.
    Blue is the next expensive, followed by, in no particular order, red, green and amber.

    i was really pointing out how little these companies pay for them - which is why i pointed to maplin, as they supply directly and thats more like what joe-public will pay.

    Thanks guys .. well ive ordered a pair of Super Bright white LED marker lights from Bikevis.com ... gives me something to do while the Trike is off road still .. sniff :-[
