    Hi

For those that may be thinking of a trip to France this year, I can highly recommend 'Two wheel Moorings'. A fantasic place to stay and very quiet roads too :

We stayed here for a couple of weeks in 2009. Not cheap, but in the middle of fantastic riding and wine country. Only an hour from Spain, 30 mins ride to the beach, 40 mins to Millau Viaduc. Loads of history and castles within reach for a day out. Swim in the river or walk in the surrounding hills in summer if you want a day off the bike. The local Rioja was 95 cents a litre and tasted like something you'd buy in Sainsburys for £8 a bottle.

It's owned buy Bill, an ex-pat Ninja rider and really nice bloke, who also owns the village's posh restaurant.

Forgot to mention, it's owned by Ian and Carol Moore, Ian used to be MAG Chairman.

Has a fully kitted workshop for any repairs during your stay, should you need anything.

Can recommend this if going further south and the roads are, as you'd expect, very good

    http://ridersrest.eu/default.aspx

can remember this as stayed a few days

errrr few other places in europe but can't remember what they were ......... anyways hoping for a couple of trips this year one of which is 2nd WW places with couple of anoraks of that ilk.

In general quality of places has improved from haphazard selection processes of the past
I need amusement in my sad life and it looks, very much, like you fit this requirement admirably..............begin the amusement!!!!!
