Took one of these out Saturday. Very nice, very light and bl**dy great in sport (full fat) mode.
I liked it a lot apart from the exhaust heat shield getting in the way of my size 13's and why put that much electronics into a bike and then give it a lcd display that looks like a £10 80's watch.
It was only when we left Riders and saw a V Rod coming in that the Ducati looks to like a Harley.
Looks like the MT is staying a while longer.

Haha Sport mode! That's an oxymoron if ever I heard one. Like police intelligence or McDonalds quality control. ;D

What's worrying is it does take it from 100bhp to 162bhp and it does feel like it.

And I do like the McDonalds QA reference. ;D

It is a sports bike in a cruiser costume. 0-60 in a couple of seconds and will do it on the back wheel. A Harley clone it most certainly isn't!

162 bhp is the magic number.

Funnily enough the same number that the new Aprilia Tuono will have.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I read the write up in last weeks MCN today and it did a good job of selling it. Would love a ride on one now!

A couple of the guys on the Italian Sportsbike Club forum have them and are totally blown away with them, even after owning a 996 or 1098 or what ever.
