I am in the process of renewing my bike insurance and the insurance company want to know the make of the immobilizer that is fitted to my 60 reg FZ1 Fazer. There is no mention of it in my handbook or documentation. Does anyone know the make of the system? Many thanks in anticipation.

It is an integral part of the ignition so is not an aftermarket jobbie, and they should know this :

Ye thanks Simon - just when applying on line you have to be specific. Job done. Thanks to Bob who mentioned Wicked quotes on another thread, I saved £120 on my insurance. £135 in total with legal cover, got money for beer now ;D

Was with one - I think the new company is called KTM. I can't complain at £135. How can my cheap old van be twice as much. Just don't get it Mitch
