ive been planning to do this for weeks if not months
the old gpz has been playing up for a long time now with top end problems knackerd valves causeing misfireing lack of power and bad starting sunday finaly made me get my ass in gear and do a top end rebuild ive had the parts sat on the window sill in the bedroom for a long time
so yesterday morning i striped the engine down and finished the rebuild at about 2pm today
but i did cheat abit already had a reconditioned head to put on so it was a very quick head off new head on job engine starts and runs so much smoother now
and must also add i reconditioned the replacement head bought of ebay reground the valves and gave a good clean up and for once i seem to have done a good job without bodgeing anything

bike still a pain to start from cold but acceleration much smoother and morepower on hills do not have to change down as much and no missfire
