Thought I’d show you my latest addition, as is customary on here

2001 GXS-R600. I was really looking for a road going R6, but this tempted me as it was partly trackified but has a V5, full service history, old MOT’s and only 22K miles on it (and was cheap) !
Plan is to get a daytime MOT for it and at least I can have a play with it on the road and get used to the way it handles etc.

Apart from the fairing, steering damper, tyres and the bits stripped from it, it’s stock.

Took all the plastics off it last night and all looked sound, and a quick nip round the block and it sounded and felt sweet. I plan to take it round Combe tomorrow for a few steady laps and see if there are any undisclosed problems.

Looks more tatty than in the pic as the fairing’s been damaged slightly being tied down and the guy had a slow lowside in the gravel at Brands which grazed the can.

Feels more “racy” than the R6, I think due to it being higher and the bars lower.

Not that fussed on the Corona colours, but it's better than plain white.

As you can imagine, looking forward to tomorrow lots

    Gerry

Looks tasty, and it's well known that a race rep colour scheme reduces your lap times at least 10%. Just ask Rinksy!! ;D

Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it?
