Struggling with profile picture

Hi everyone, sorry if iv posted this in the wrong section of the forum but I can't work out how to put a picture as my profile pic ? It's all new to me this, can anyone help ??? :-/

you need to upload from a hosting site such as photobucket then click on user cp at the top, then on profile, and then options. there's a place to put the link to the picture
