Having just reached my previous high mileage record of 58500 miles (on my lovely old CBR600), I thought it time to give the FZ1 a bit of a spruce up. The rear disc is wafer thin, and the rear shock has seen better days. So a new disc from Yamaha (cheaper than EBC ) is on it's way, and I've just ordered a replacement rear shock from Hagon. It's in for service next week, and will have the fork oil replaced at the same time. I'm hoping to have some decent handling back at the end of it. Along with the recent carbon-look wrap that I had done on the belly pan and seat unit, it should be looking and handling more like it used to...

Had to replace the front disc on the GS (only got 41800 out of that).... was the same price to get OEM suzuki as EBC.
