Here are a few little bikes seen in India recently. Like Eqypt there seem to be loads of 150CC bikes everywhere. But the last one is the best of all. I was allowed a little run up the quay on it. She was just wonderful.
1st one is a Hero Honda 150. hero is a huge name in India.

Second one is a Pulsar ? 150 with a suzuki lookalike tank badge.

The best is last. A Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc. 680 pounds new...yes really!

Honda Hero - got quite a ring to it.

I love the look of the Enfield, those crash bars look like an instrument of torture though £680 - wow.

£680? I would want cash back (at least £650)
We took a 500 Enfield out through Bristol before we bought the Bonnie. They look good but are terrible.

I know what you mean. Had to kick start a Kawasaki KH250 a month a go. Something satifying about it.

Thank god my MT-01 hasn't got a kick start. 1700 v-twin. No thanks I'll stick to a button

There would be a bit of a market here for them.

Watched a prog on a basic car they make which would make a great taxi or budget runaround for not much moolah

Wonder what the import twaddle would be for this stuff ?
I need amusement in my sad life and it looks, very much, like you fit this requirement admirably..............begin the amusement!!!!!

I looked into it a year or two ago as I go to India often and it was quite expensive. The shipping cost, import duty and VAT added up to roughly £2,000. Pity!

had a friend that wanted to bring a tuk tuk back to start a taxi business in Plymouth with them. His logo was to be 'no more cowboys. Just Indians.' Seriously. HMRC put the kybosh on that. However I hear there are a few running around London now.
