Sorry to hear about your troubles. Like you say, not professional if they're on the phone all the time. I'm surprised they managed to get tests at all at the weekend. Bristol won't do weekend tests....

When you get tense, without realising, your arms stiffen up. Make a conscious effort to relax your arms so you can steer properly. Have you considered using one of the school's bikes? We use Yamaha...
Make sure they teach you counter-steering, and you'll find the avoidance a breeze. Best advice, don't rush any exercises, and before setting off, take a moment to think what the examiner will be...
