Miracles Happen .... Without Steve!!!!

Ive been having a few problems recently with gear changes, especially 1st, 2nd & reverse when the engine is running. No problem when the engine was off!! :-/

At certain junctions the only way to engage a gear was turn off the ignition... engage gear... start the engine... appologise to the queue of people behind tooting horns, swearing etc!!!! :o

I figured the problem was the clutch... well durrr!! ::)

I adjusted the clutch cable to remove the clutch drag and BINGO!!!! All the gears work!!!! 8-) [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] 8-)

Remarkable..... Dont worry Steve will (Hopefully) be over tomorrow to fix the leaky pair of fork seals!!!

Jem got the temp gauge working AND the rev counter so :P t you!

Only prob is now got a minor prob with calibrating the rev counter as its from a Dolly Sprint not a Reliant BUT they both use A neg earth frrd!!! :o

Good luck with that sir....hold on a rev with a Robin?? never knew they had such a thing??

Latest update!!

I strengthened a bracket that was/is used for the clutch cable and after a few tweeks on the adjuster.... I FIXED IT!!!!

The clutch now works and so does the gear box.... GRAHAM is back on the road!! 8-)

Yes! I couldn't go last night (wedding anniversary..... tough call tho!) but I will be down next week, providing I/we survive "Hogging the Bridge" on Sunday! 8-)
