Re: Keeping your screen trim
Sorry Dave i have no idea best way to keep it on there but....
I just read this at my desk and spat coffee across my twin monitors because i burst out laughing. My work mates thought i was having a heart attack. Thanks for the laugh ;D ;D ;D ;D
Re: Keeping your screen trim
epoxy it to the screen. You'll never remove it then!

Glad I could make your Thursday a bit happier!
The epoxy thing should work, is there any specific make I should look at that wont cause problems with the plastics.
Re: Keeping your screen trim
Don't properly know. I've used Devcon 2ton epoxy in the past, and that seems to work on most things.
Re: Keeping your screen trim
You could always slow down Dave ;D ;D
Re: Keeping your screen trim
Araldite should do it. I've used it on plastic stuff before without issues
Re: Keeping your screen trim
Just looked at one i have here that seems to have a strip of 3m adhesive tape in the "U" of the trim. Maybe better than trying to glue it in case you ever want to get it off again!?

Re: Keeping your screen trim
Coach bolts, or some 6" G clamps.
Re: Keeping your screen trim
A thin bead of RTV (silicone sealant)would do the trick, plus you'd be able to remove it if you wanted to in the future 8-)

Slow down! I was (for a change) only doing 60 mph, must have knocked it when giving the bike a clean.
Some good ideas, I am keen to actually have the ability to remove it again should I need to so RTV or tape sounds like a plan.
