Slowly getting some power wheelies nailed....well chuffed :D
Woo hoo!!
Does that mean you are gonna start working on your u-turns now ;D
Thought you had gone to Swindon and back you took that long pmsl
x
Funny you mention that, almost dropped it while u-turning yesterday lol
Mmm ok.....
Mmmm whats up? :P
Was practising me u-turns the other day....still rubbish at them. So much harder on sports bikes!
On a plus note wheelies are slowly getting better [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Haha Ian your u-Turn done at the mermaid last week was pretty amazing, mum's right tho we thought you'd gone to Swindon to turn around lol. ;D
I was soooooo wary of attempting it infront of everyone, panicking and laying it down. Best to shoot up the road and do a 3 pointer
Awwww bless ya!! At least you didn't look like a complete muppet turning up there on ya tod like me!!
seems like youve maybe had some "professional" tuition.....and some dodgy advice from mates such as me....hahaha ;D
Shhhhhh the wheelie police lurk in ever corner mate ;D
Yea your advice was wicked mate [smiley=thumbsup.gif], just need to find a longer stretch of private road as the bit on camp is 100m long max.
Well the old air field at Wroughton is free to use and if you cant do it on that pack the bike up and send it back..... ;D :D ;D :D ;)
Wroughton airfield is patrolled......so I found out the other week.....got swiftly escorted off of there!! Tight b@stards!!
Where-a-bouts is Wroughton? I would say the security would have to catch me to escort me but i ride like a crippled tortoise with 3 legs so they'll have no problems there
Wroughton is Swindon.....jnct 16 M4......10 min ride from my house :)
What even the back end of the fiels that used to be the hospital??
Cos that where I used to go to practice.....(Ok I know that was some years ago, but I wouldnt of thought they would care about it any more).
Does help when you know people that work on site and get the private roads :D Not that i condone wheelies or such like antics on the public highway [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
If anyone is passing thru wroughton and needs a cuppa - give me a shout..the airfield is almost in my back garden [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Like a few have said maybe best to work on the basics of u turns before being a smart arse on the wheelies ;D lol and I know u turns arent easy on sports bikes i tried one on a fireblade on Sun - lets leave that one there! Yet to try on on the ER6 if i ever get it back from George Whites!!
We did wonder if you had got lost though that night poor dave was sat there for ages waiting for you
Come back when you've got a 'proper' bike :P The turning circle of a sports bike is comparable to that of the QE2 hence going up the road and doing a 3 pointer, and as said i didnt want to drop it and look a clown infront of you lot. Now naff off back to your scooter :D
Ian you are intent on getting your handbag out aren't you!!! Wow saucer of milk table 2 ;D
Oh Ian arent we getting bitchy!!
I am however impressed that you have sailed the QE2!! ;D
Im sorry Ian that I ever mentioned your prowess at u turns!!!
Ah dont worry about it, it was time we took the mick out of somebody elese others than suzukisteve ;D ;D ;D
Pfft i just think the Swindon girls are all after a piece :) either that or they're having a combined blonde moment :D
A piece of what? cake??? surely not a** ;D
Bring it on Ian....i'm ready when you are!! ;D
see Ian, all it takes is you poppin wheelies and the laydees all wanna know..... you the man!!!! ;)
;D
Ian's the man !! woop woop - we will wait to see the wheelies, getting back to the oriiginal conversation pictures of which would be required for proof of course ;)
Until i shall just have to worship your skills from afar on my scooter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
C
Hey you can pull wheelies on Scooters....
My mate who has a scooter for the town riding and a CB1300 for out and about riding can pull well long wheelies on the scoot (in the fire yard and not on the road mind you)
I see what you mean now Ian about this thread. HAHA
So Ian, when you wheelie like a Riding God past the chippie/secondary school/youth club and impress all the girlies, how or where are you going to turn round to claim your panting pubescent prize?? :-?
They are big, and they are clever, but sort the basics out first eh mate? ;) ;D ;D ;D A U-turn can be done on a regular road on any sportsbike, save a few Ducati exceptions probably... ::)
Following your pant-wetting wheelie (the girls' not yours) a swift U-ey (ideally with knee on deck) followed by a bit of throttle and a cool rolling stoppie to finish in front of the teenage harem should do the trick.... they'll be wanting your babies in droves ;) [smiley=thumbsup.gif] 8-) [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
I won't sell the spare tail unit yet - just waiting for the flipped it post ::)
I'm not sure about "Riding God" but rumours have been circulating that Valentino's and Casey's jobs are at risk and that my name has been put top of Yamaha and Ducati's shortlist. As for the school chicks i could always borrow one of the Swindon girls 125s, stick some neons on it and they'll flock to me in their droves. I would quite like to see someone do a knee down u-turn on a normal sized road, maybe you could show me? Right it's getting near school time............Quote:

Mmm...Swindon Scholl girls??
Wheres the cops when you need one???
I don't know why you'd be doing power-on wheelies anyway.
Clutch it up. That way you'll get quicker height and maintain the wheel off the ground longer instead of running out or revs so quickly - I don't think its just those Swindon girls that are the bunny hoppers ;)
Damnit i deliberately kept off the junkies site to stop you seeing this :-?
hell! hes so good he can have my babies.... ;D
(come and get them! they cry at night, poop too much and its now illegal to sell them on ebay).....joking!
