The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
And lo, the intrepid WBs ventured forth into Norfolk to try out the new Snetterton 300 layout...
Scotty and Star got there first and bagged garages 11 & 12 for the WB posse, defending it against all potential intruders...

The garage gradually fills up. Note the guys unloading the trailer in the background - they resolutely refused to occupy garage 13, staying firmly on the other side of the invisible dividing line..

In the circuit bar after the Hog Roast, it's 20.15, dark outside, and we're all knackered!

Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Great comments and pictures ... I literally laughed out loud at the comments and expressions....
This is a brilliant way of getting the other members to see the enjoyment and laughs we had. Cant wait for the next venture... :D and the next filmstrip minutes,,,,
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Very good post and pictures scotty, really was a good couple of day's.The Snet 300 track was first class and well worth doing again.Just gotta find me a track bike now 8-)
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Nice pic's there Scotty, How is the knee now BTW ? hope it was ok so you could make the most of the diminutive R6 :D
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Cheers Simon :) No change with the knee yet, hopefully surgery will sort it out before too long, a necessary evil I'm afraid, but it won't improve any further until then. Thanks for asking :)
The R6 was great fun once I got the hang of it (where's the power?), though it's crying out for rearsets, my toe sliders took a hell of a battering on it ;D ;D ;D Top little bike though 8-)
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Glad you enjoyed the day regardless of the knee ;) Guess what Halina's getting for christmas then :P :P
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
(Whispers) Thanks for the idea Simon, I may just do that...

Great Pics!!!!
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Didn't need it but it was a good marker to find the right garage!
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
JUst got my bike back and its much much better!! Electrical problems slowed me down but were a good excuse on the day!! Roll on Spain, 4 weeks to go [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Electrical problems huh? :-? Dodgy sensor, stick coil or something maybe? Who sorted it for you, and did they tell you what it was? Does that mean that it won't sound like a Triumph triple at full chat now? ;)
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Got it fixed by JHS in Bristol, main culprit looks like overenthusiastic use of the pressure washer :( Will probably also explain why the battery was losing charge so quickly too. Sounds really sweet now and revs right out. Much as I like my Triumph I prefer my Blade as a four rather than a triple. :)
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Really enjoy reading the captions :p Could you not get any pictures of the going around corners?
Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
...not really, with only a point and squirt pocket camera. There was a professional taking photos on the second day, they're on-line here

Re: The OMCC Double-header at Snetterton
Yes indeedy, it was really great 8-)
"Baby" bikes are fun, you can take many more liberties with the throttle without the fear of being launched into the next postcode, but overall I prefer mine :)
