Wear it for years maybe ;D
thats the hard way lol,
i should have stated before hand, i am very very very lazy, i mean its actually quicker for me to walk to tesco from my house but i will drive/ride every time, regardless of why im going
Ask someone else to wear it for you 8-)
now thats the sort of thinking i like,
you fit in a 40"? lol
Ah now those were the days ;D
thought as much :)
Rub baby oil into it?
Dubbin?
Used to work on my old footie boots when I was a kid...
... or just wear it. Lots. On the bike, to the pub (maybe take the armour out first), housework (if you're that way inclined ;D), whatever.

Find a tight right hand bend, halfway way round crack the throttle and when the back end slides shut it off just as quick. Do this a few times and your new jacket will have that "well used" look and feel to it. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Sleep rough on the streets for a few weeks ...
There is leather softner out there. Not sure where you get it from though, maybe a fetish shop? or even a cobler?
I use dubbin on my Military boots and I got that from Millets, not too sure if it'll have the same affect on bike leathers (I take it that it's a bike leather jacket :-/ )
yeh its a bike jacket lol from george white :)
thanks for the suggestions, if im feeling adventurous i may sleep in the street tonight, if im feeling brave i'll try on the m4 lol
I've got an old jacket, it's beautifully soft and "worn in" I'll swap it for your new one zachl!!!! ;D
lol thanks for the offer mate but im afraid i'll have to decline lol
When I get new leathers I sleep in them...Not in a kinky way, btw! just to break them in
i find sleeping in general enough of a struggle,
i imagine it would be a mission in a leather jacket
I tried just the same with my new Davida!
Mrs. kicked me out of bed; the B*tˆh. >:(
Hein Gerricke leather cuir Works pretty well. I've used it for years. Ever been to a bike show? Been offered a free shoe shine whilst there? That stuff works well too and lasts for ages. On the subject of bike shows has anyone else been ripped off by the "anti fogging" guy sell that pink ****e you rub on visors. >:(
Yep, that would be me (bought two). Mug or what. Great demo thou.
Wrt soften leathers, what about putting in stout bag and putting in tumble dryer on low heat ? Never tried it myself so don't hunt me down if you try this and it doesn't work.
I was pleasantly surprised after treating myself to a set of BKS leathers last year (the proper ones, not the new FT-linked off-the-peg stuff) and they're the first leathers I've ever bought that needed no wearing in at all, the leather was thick and tough, but really supple - reflected in the price I suppose, but they are just sooo comfy 8-)
My Zak Leathers race suit is also comfy, after feeling like a suit of armour when I first got it, and I did wear that round the house for a number of evenings... ::)

I bought two as well...thougth it was just me not being able to spread it properly,LOL!!
how about a gentle application of a sandblaster, followed by some neets foot oil.
lend it to me and il go offroading in it, it will never be "New" again.......
Walk into your local pub and pick a fight with the biggest chap in there. Do this a few times and it will soon look used and abused.
By the way if it's the Black Horse it will probably be me. ;D
concrete mixer,several bricks,gallon of water,2 hours.Done
just wear it, wear it in the house, wear it in the car and wear it to the shops, you will have it worn in within a few days
