Quite a few! I've got 5 in total, 3 battery ones, one 1/8 Kyosho Nitro F150 Truck (with two speed gearbox now) and 1/8th scale Nitro Buggy from a specialist shop local to where I live. Both of the nitro cars .21 engines in it and the Buggy requires me to bump start it from a slave box. The Kyosho one is a normal pull start.Quote:

R c cars has been a hooby of mine for ages, I build custom ones. At present I am working on an old 1/8th Kyosho Landmax with Peugeot 206 WRC bodyshell, done all the customising to the workings, yet to do the bodywork, (If I can get it over the side pipe >:( ). I also have a Kyosho Inferno 7.5, I have got all the parts to replace every plastic bit with Blue metal parts, and many extras, metal fuel lines, fuel filters, chokes, tyres and Wheels, nuts and trims etc. but it's all sat in a box waiting for the long Winter evenings to come. Should I post some pics ? I also have Sam a long haired GSD. and I am a radio Amateur.......Rod
Pictures are always good :D
Rod feel free to post some pictures!!!! I might have to change the title of this thread to "All those who have an interest in R/C cars post in here!" ;)

4 as I need a new air filter for the Kyosho! Although I have had thoughts of getting another battery one as the truck kills them far too quickly and I keep losing races to Rob's Mini!
furry muff, did I tell you Pauls looking at getting a Lunchbox, going to stick another lairy motor in and wheelie for England.
It Robs mini nitro or batt power mate? Wish I still had my mini, it would defo have a bigger moto in her.
It's battery mate and hence me thinking of getting another battery one. The Cossie loses out because of the 4WD and that's with an uprated engine/servo. The truck is quick off the line but as you know, the top end isn't all that great! Plus, I go through about 4 batteries to Rob's one when I use that.
You mentioned Paul was looking at another one but you didn't say which one! If he wants a wheelie truck and has a spare £350 (like we all do! yeah roight!) he should get the HPI Savage as you can buy a wheelie bar for it and the thing looks mental when it pulls away and hoists one hell of a wheelie!
You can get cheap Tamiya's of ebay mate thats what he spent all last week looking at. I think he will be getting around chrimbo time :)
Been playing about with RC cars for a while to. Started with a Tamiya jobbie then bought a HPI nitro jobbie.
Other than that used to practise Muay Thai but have'nt for a while now.
Various types of programming, VB, HTML, CSS, PIC Basic/Assembly and a couple of others. With the PICs I used to do a bit with electronics, something I really need to catch up on!
My biggest hobbie is still cars, will probably always be, mostly Hondas and Vauxhalls.....well, anything Honda really!

Chris can do it whilst he's doing your networking ;)
That sound great, does chris know? ;D
Not yet - we'll tell him later ;D
I need to give mine a tune - fancy a race :P
I bought one of those nitro cars once off ebay as my mate said it was great and fast - he knows I don't! Yeah damn right it was fast 200 ft up the garden into the garage end of game lasted all of 5 mins and that included the 4 mins and 55 secs to get it started! Misses won't let me get another for risk of damaging the new pad
yep you bet yer britches baby :)Quote:
