Re: dead battery
Left something on, heated grips, lights, etc?
-
Re: dead battery
no nothing dont have any accessories heated grips etc. and keys were inside so no lights or anything are left on. only candidate would be alarm??
-
Re: dead battery
No idea then, alarms would do that but if you'd just ridden 80m you'd expect the battery to be fine, only other thing is the battery is not charging.
-
Re: dead battery
yeah thats my worry ice replaced the charging system once on it already!!!!
-
Re: dead battery
Charge it back up with a smart-charger, check the voltage across the battery with the bike running to see if it is charging ok? Should be 14.6volts +/-
-
Re: dead battery
Battery could be on it's way out, corroded/loose battery terminals, alternator or rectifier.
Your battery is either not holding a charge or not getting one at all.

Re: dead battery
battery is 5 months old.......the stator and reg/rec was replaced last year due to the stator blowing up.
