I may have to shrink my garage, I finally got out on a Street Triple. Got to say I loved it it seems i'm getting to the point where my body don't fit sporty bikes anymore and it prefers a more "sitty up" position :p

I do like the engineering on trikes but you still get stuck in traffic!

Have to agree, a trike (conventional one with 2 rear wheels) has all the disadvantages of a bike; vulnerability, no weather protection - and none of the advantages; speed, leaning, narrow enough to filter. I can’t for the life of me figure why someone would choose one unless they had a physical disability that hindered riding a two-wheeler.
The Yamaha Niken looks a bit of a hoot though - I may see if I can get a test ride on one, wouldn’t want to buy, just try. Road test write-ups say that the front end is seriously planted, though with twice as many tyres as a bike it should be...

Lots of 'em used in the Tour de Frog - particularly with cameramen as pillions.
A pal has a lesser one. He says that the mechanics of the front end are very complicated...and he was an RN helicopter maintenance CPO
Nicely done :)
