Igbell I will think of you in your car when I am traffic splitting
Its alright FJ I will only be in my car when it comes to snow and ice, all the other times I will still be sat on the old girl (motorbike before you say anything Amante).

No stranger to riding in bad weather though. Before my current job, my bike (a SV650 at the time) was my only transport and I rode that through two winters. Can remember hands being so cold that I had to stop, take off gloves and hold them over the exhaust just to get some feeling back, lol.
I know that feeling Obzy! I always wanted heated grips!!
I would never buy a bike without heated grips now, as they have been a god send.
Also after getting the AlpineStar gloves I would never get winter gloves that are not top notch, as these have been the dogs do dahs.

Never rode with heated grips, just use big old bulky oxford muffs to keep my hands warm, the only down side is they occasionally knock my kill switch when I am riding ::)Quote:

used to have heated grips on the 1200 bandit...definitely a worthwhile investment for winter riding! mind you, I have some great astars gloves now which do the job just as well
