As stated before we only went off subject as you never bothered to answer our questions! So typical lady fashion of only supplying a fraction of the information required but expect a decent answer ::) You'll be glad to know it'll be the last I post on the subject, as too much going on at the moment so won't be about much! Enjoy your search [smiley=thumbsup.gif][/quote]

umm questions of what bike and what year?...I think they were both answered on the 1st page of the thread by geordie stu and davel, no point in me repeating it if they did it for me. :-?
I have recommendations from people and am doing the research..thanks to all who have helped. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Re: Exhaust recommendations please
As I am still on line I will reply as it made me laugh - personally if I was going to ask for advice for my own bike I'd have put it in the 1st post rather than needing people to ask and others reply wioth 'I think its...' ::)
that would have saved a load of the rubbish chat - and realistically it was all pointless as seem still nowhere nearer lol so a quick rundown to help
Akro - nice, expensive, not too loud in road state can be in race baffle out
Yoshi - see Akro
Scorpion cheaper than above some nice styles - not offensivly loud
Art - cheap, loud
Carbon Can Co - cheaper, nice looking, not too loud
Remus - bit cheaper than Akro, well built, nice look and sound
Micron - nice cans but went bust so may find a bargain
Racefit - nice looking cans but very loud
Lazer - similar price as Remus - nice looking not too loud
Termi - same as Yoshi but can be louder
Fuel - cheaper cans not too badly made not offensivly loud
Beowolf - some quirky shaped cans, nice sound not too loud cheap too
Well that'll start you somewhere - and I'm off
tata

Re: Exhaust recommendations please
Roxy, if you follow Stu's list and check all their websites you'll find pics of the pipe for your bike (probably fitted on the bike)
To clarify, Akro = Akrapovic, Yoshi = Yoshimura and Termi = Termignoni
Once you've decided what you like, start scouring fleabay for a good 2nd hand one
Stu, you forgot Arrow ;)

And Blue Flame (are they still about?)

Re: Exhaust recommendations please
Have you spoken to the dealer you bought the bike off?? I believe Yamaha have developed cans with Akraprovic... would seem a good place to start.
Good shout on Arrow... the Can's I saw looked very good.
I have a Scorpion. It's very good looking but the build isn't too hot (I'm on my 3rd replacement).
