not long to go now :) :) :)
Still a couple of places left in the Fast Group Si? :-?
How many WBs are camping? It's a good crack;
Call into chippy in Cowbridge en route, get fish & chips
Drive a couple of miles to the campsite
Locate WB/SWB crew
Eat food, drink beer
Put up tent, drink beer
Walk the track (doesn't take long...)
Drink Beer
Sleep
Get up, shower, strike camp
Drive to circuit (30 seconds away)
Ride round and round... 8-)
Yep im in dude...
I will be camping, tho haven't booked anything, where are you staying ????
There's a campsite just beyond the circuit, best check the threads on SWB for details & let Simon (billinom8s) know your plans.
Nine days' time.... 8-) 8-) 8-)
Oooh, I was sorting through the tyre pile in the shed last night (because it fell over basically... ::)) and I found a front Dunlop D207GP (120/70 ZR17) that's still very useable and is a seriously good tyre - I wish they still made them as they're a brilliant intermediate tyre.
If anyone wants it for Llandow they're welcome to it, just buy me a beer or a Smellyburger sometime 8-)
i have a place in inters going if anyone wants it.
pm me asap
1 place in novice available too now.
Contact. Me asap if you want the place
cheers
I really can't face camping now as the forecast for Thursday is for rain. I am therefore going to book myself into the Travelodge - Bridgend Just off Junction 35 of the M4
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/9...-Pencoed-hotel
£30 for a family room can't be bad and it's next to a Harvester too :)
Oh and don't forget to chose the right date (7th) after you click on the link ! Muchos cheapos! :)
Left it another hour - cost me another £7 !
Booked in the dry - thank you x
G
Prices are going up peeps so get booking ! :) :)Quote:

I'm driving over tomorrow morning to watch the track stars riding Llandow !!!!
Anyone interested in having a lift over to watch them ... send me a PM.
(I've put a thread in General Bike Chat too with timings of when I'm setting off).
Working? Since when?Quote:

Nope, Cinders can't come to the ball today, or tomorrow, or the day after that...
Much as I'd love to be out there in the wind and rain, I'm stuck in this horrible warm, dry office til Tuesday, but will be thinking of you all (and praying the weather improves before Snetters)
Have fun y'all! ;)
A wise decision was taken to cancel the trackday and offer another day FOC for the SWBs on Saturday 18th August, plus £20 off a day on track tomorrow for anyone who fancied hanging around, having paid for fuel and the bridge to get here. The forecast is much better for tomorrow so a handful of us have stayed on; me, Star (eventually making her mind up), Shammy666 (gone home but coming back in the morning) and two other SWBs, Rob and Paul. Right now we're in the Outlet Mall in Bridgend, seeing what's on at the cinema... (not much else to do during monsoon season) ::)
You got your sleeping bag with ya if you're there until Tuesday ??!! ;)Quote:

Well unfortunately i did my usual thing of breaking down... It turns out my bike doesn't like the rain at all! Got about 200 yards from home and it konked out on me :[ Was really looking forward to it despite the horrendous weather.
Well it was worth the wait as we had a totally dry and sunny day on track in the end, top marks to the various WBs and SWBs who either stayed around or made the trip back over this morning. CharleyX popped her trackday cherry and loved it, well done girl :)
What an enjoyable day and an incredible turnaround after yesterday's storms. Roll on Snetterton in nine days' time 8-) 8-) 8-)
Very pleased I made a last minute run over to see you all today, another fab day. Congrats to CharleyX on her first track day - and overtaking to boot [smiley=thumbup.gif]
Nick looked good - quick and smooth, on his return to the track and it's geat to see more WB ladies (Halina & Sam) on track too.
A weekend to remember :)
