Hmm.... this has given me an idea.
The filamnt lamp on the cub is..... well, useless and the alternator struggles to keep up. If I can rig up a bike light (most are 6V) I can get better lights and a happier alternator..... winner!!!!

Or at least preserve the alternator. I tries a 2.5W led and that will be plenty bright enough. Just need to focus the light correctly.Quote:
