So, so sad. RIP Mikkie :(
Although I didn't know him I can see he touched the hearts of many. Very sad news. My thoughts go out to all those close to him.
So very sad, like many have said. Such a happy friendly chap. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
So sad. He had so much life in him and so much to look forward to, it doesn't seem fair. We will miss him so much my heart goes out to Charlotte and his family. RIP Mikkie it was a real pleasure to have known you. Patsy x
The few times I found myself in Mikkies company I thought he was a great guy. He obviously was.
I am very saddened to hear this tragic news and my heart goes out to his loved ones. RIP
Tragic at such an age with so much life in front of him. So hard on the family rest in peace.
Hi all, I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words and for being a piece of Mikkie's life. He lived his life on two wheels.
We will all miss him terribly.
As soon as we know what is being planned for the funeral, I will let you know. We want you all to come if you can and make as much noise as possible.
Thank you again.
Matt
Thanks Matt, we'll be there in volume - Mikkie was a hugely popular guy and will be missed terribly
Absolutely gutted to hear about this, such a genuine smiley bloke and definitely gone to soon, RIP Mikkie x
I am still speechless. Such a huge loss. He was such an amazing person and Blade Group will just not be the same. Always smiling and full of life. Mikkie you will never be forgotten dude. You touched so many lives. Thoughts go out to the family. I will most definitely be paying my respects at the funeral as i'm sure 100's will.
RIP mate xxxxx
Last night at the Crown was a truly moving time. I am sure that was only a fraction of the people Mike had that admired him, and enjoyed being around him. He will be hugely missed by everyone. I was glad to have met Matt and think he shares the same attributes as his brother. The biking community in Wiltshire will never be the same, but will always hold Mike and his family in their thoughts and hearts.
It was moving indeed. I'm glad i went. I'm sure Mikkie would have approved. :)
I'm glad I went too. It was the first time I've been to The Crown
I'll definitely be going to Mikkie's funeral
I wonder if Mikkie knew how popular he was???
sad news indeed, RIP chief
Such a sad sad loss ...one of lifes decent guys...miss u mate was a pleasure to have u as a friend u made me laugh so many times ....rip mikkie ...
I don't think he did Swanny, he was just Mikkie. He didn't do anything out of the ordinary other than be himself,he didn't have to try to be liked or loved, it just naturally happened. Just by being himself he made others around him happy and want to be in his company.Just by being himself he was always happy to help and give advice. He was truly a remarkable guy, i can honestly say i don't think i or we will meet anyone of his stature again. I am honoured to have known Mike, ride with him, laugh with him and share stories with him, and he will never be forgotten.
Wow - what a shock & so sad...
One of the cheeriest and friendly guys I ever met - my condolences to his family and loved ones...
Ride on mate - wherever you are...
‘The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present instant of his flight; he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future; he is wrenched from the continuity of time...in other words, he is in a state of ecstasy; in that state he is unaware of his age, his wife, his children, his worries, and so he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear.’
-Milan Kundera
RIP Mikkie.
