I'm not sure how much scrapping we got in, I think the people around us saw what was happening and got in quick, hands did seem to come for everywhere! Unfortunately we have this former member who we banned for insulting quite a few people (and their kids as well), and those he didn't insult he pissed off, and for some reason he thinks that being banned still means he can turn up to all the meets, events and ride outs. He justifies his actions by saying that his friends want him there (although from all the handshakes, 'well dones' and 'about time' I got, I'm not sure any of them where there!). The guy doesn't take a hint, or even being told directly, in fact he just rode ahead of us and got to Weymouth before we did.

So I apologise to all members, old and new, for my part in todays incident, I hope it didn't spoil what was otherwise a great day, and I hope it didn't spoil your impression of what, in my mind, is an amazing group of people and a great community.[/quote]

What a FAB morning!!! HUGE well done to Basil and Tash for organising and taking the photos, you are both stars!!! It worked out really well, would have been nice to have a bit more time and more photos but hey we've done it once we can do it again!! It was defo worth getting up for ( not that I slept last night - 1hr sleep! :() and I am sure everyone will be thrilled with the results...so a great big pat on the backs of the organisers!!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

The incident when we got back to Warminster Services did spoil it but only for a few short minutes. I do have to say this though... I have re read the threads and can see nowhere that is says we were going back to Warminster after the shoot ( please correct me if I have missed it?? :-/) so I assume the only way the ex member knew we were going to be there was to have been told as his arrival at the services was spot on to ours, take from that what you will but I would like to say that today was a Wiltshire Bikers organised event and ride out, I understand that some people are still on speaking terms with the ex member and if they want to ride with him then they should arrange their own ride outs and not invite him onto the WB ones as he has been told on a number of occasions that he is not welcome.
Hunar, there is no need to apoligise at all and I am grateful that you had the balls to speak to him as I know from personal experience he does not listen when he is told to stop upsetting people so thank you. I will say no more on the matter as I think enough time has been wasted on the subject but please people bear in mind WB events, ride outs and meets are for WBers!

To end this post I will say all in all it was a fantastic day with great people (yes even you basil ;):-* lol), the ride back home with the mighty Hunar was a great potter, the wx was perfect and the company as always great!!

We (Gemma, Rosie, Ade, Star & Scotty) stayed a bit longer and some had a very civilised cup of tea before heading home - very nice.

Really liked the beach racing, great fun, I bet they really ache tomorrow morning, especially those in the “expert race” which went on for ages.
Thought I’d jot this down before jumping in the shower to de-sand myself.

Hope the photo’s come out well, judging by Tash’s previous pics I’m sure they will be great. Well done Basil & Dabs in organising us rabble

Great ride there & back, thanks to Scotty & Stu for a job well done.

It was also Gemma’s first try of her heated top which was a great success (even though a person with normal blood wouldn’t be cold anyway) I’ve even got a red head to prove the sun came out 8-)

All in all, an excellent and entertaining day [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

can i just say i know the (ex member) and no i didnt say anything about where we were meeting but up to this point he has not offended me and the times he has to others ive put him straight, does this mean your also going to ban me because i speak to him.

Don't be daft Speedy. If we banned everyone who had friends that were 'unacceptable' to other people we know I'm sure there would not be many of us left on here! ;)

i know he is not a liked guy and for some of the things he has done rightly so but its a pity as bikers we cant all get on , i am in know way defending him just viewing my feelings.

The guy is Banned from any & all Wiltshire Biker meets & Official ride outs that's it.

Speedy no one is saying you are not entitled to your views etc.....he is just not welcome at WB events thats all.....he has offended way too many people in his time and so thats just the way it is......if you choose to ride with him or chat with him thats your choice (and no-one is criticising or judging you at all) but he is just not welcome at any WB activities [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]....and hopefully he will respect the wishes of 99% of the members :) :)

Thanks to Basil and the events team for all the work that went in to organising the photo shoot and especially to Tash for being chauffeur and daredevil photographer!
