£80 for a life !!

Please Help me on this one...

On the 23rd of October 2005 my good friend John Living was hit by a car and killed instantly.

The foreign driver had no licence and no insurance, and at court he was found completely to blame.

His punishment was an £80 fine - yep that's right £80 for taking someones life.

John was a huge motorbike fan and rode a Yellow Triumph ( sorry I dont know model etc! )
His girlfriend is working with Roadpeace to make sentences for this type of incident more substantial. She has a petition and wants as many signitures on it as possible.

Bring it next Friday to our ride out mate...we'll all sign is then.

Absolutely to signing the petition, it’s the legal drivers/riders of the UK that get the bum deal as unsinured/foreign/illegal drivers are hard to trace and prosecute.

£80 is discusting. the more you think about it, the angrier it makes you feel.

So very sorry to hear about John Living, that’s absolutely awful.

If you do bring it along next Friday hopefully there will be three others who will sign it for you as well.
