Yes, the bus lanes can be used by m/cycles and taxis (as well as buses)

Most of the lanes in Bristol are OK for bikes, but some are not. Indeed one is OK until you reach a junction, where the lane goes on but bikes are banned. They have saved me hours since I've had a bike.
