Any advice???

Got an Apprilla RS 125 year 07. Having an issue with when starting, it fires & takes lots of starting before we can get to tick over. Can anyone give me any advice on how I can fix this?

Good link there DC, was going to say carbs/jets or floats. Drain the carbs if there is old fuel been sat a while, stip and clean with carb cleaner. Also worth draining the tank as the 2t oil can settle lower than the petrol causing the plugs to oil up and give a poor combustion.

Sounds like the Reed valve could be blocked/worn to me. :confused:

Maybe the powerband needs replacing - I'd suggest getting a red one, they're better than the blue ones.

Or the elastic band?
