:( at least the weather is changing so maybe will not feel as bad as it did in spring, when we had glorious sunshine and unable to ride....
I behaved last time but this time, I'll test my eyesight whenever I feel like it. I'll happily refuse a fine and argue in a court that I was testing my eyesight too.

Just don't try it in Welsh Wales...the Heddlu have been issued blunt rusty knives.

THE Driver Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has confirmed that all motorcycle tests and booked training sessions are suspended for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The news comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown, from November 5 until December 2.

Interesting...NOTE the phrase 'recreation is not execise and motorcycling is certainly recreation'.

Some bloke my wife works with rides a motorbike to and from work - has been pulled over twice on two consecutive evenings asking whether his journey was deemed essential. One would think bikers are being targeted?

From what I gather from the lawyer's document, motorcycling is 'per se' a recreation as is dog walking or jogging.
Simply going for a little ride is therefore permissable.

The Coalition of Motorcycling Organisations (COMO) has examined legislation and guidance for the new lockdown in England. If you are not required to self-isolate, the rules do permit riding alone or with one other individual. You are still subject to the social distancing rules and other measures.

Its more socially distanced than walking or jogging, at least when on a bike you don't have someone jogging past huffing and puffing.....

I agree too.
I think that it’s not really in the ‘spirit of lockdown’ however.
But seeing as it’s hosing down outside there’s not much chance of any exercise for me anyway :(
