Only needs to fit iphone8/battery backup thingy (similar size to phone), and a wallet. Needs clear pocket on top, strong magnets, headstock strap, be able to fit on and be unobtrusive on an older sportsbike.

I reckon Iv tried 6-7 different tank bags that attach in all sorts of different ways with all sorts of padding under them and every single one ends up scratching the buggery out of the tank no matter how clean it is when it's attached.

I tried a while back to find one with almost identical criteria.

I had to compromise and forgo the clear pocket. I mostly use this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-X1-Micro-Tankbag-Red-Lifetime-Motorcycle-Luggage-Smallest-Tank-Bag-1L/153350284547?epid=2262848575&hash=item23b463a503:g:mKIAAOSwUuFWyJhi&frcectupt=true It sticks firm on my GSXR even at very high speed, just about fits a phone, wallet, e-cig and liquid bottle.

I tried this (and a few similar ones from other brands) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxford-Motorcycle-Bike-F1-Mini-Tank-Bag-7L-Capacity-Magnetic-Black-OL440/253897281694?epid=631204829&hash=item3b1d75109e:g:qacAAOSw8JZbq2ao it starts to move about and tries to lift at 80MPH+

I came to the conclusion if you want a small magentic tank bag it has to be properly tiny, normal looking small/mid ones tend to not have the flaps on the side with magnets and without those at their sizes they just won't stay firm (and nothing sh!ts you up like going round a corner at speed and feeling your tank bag leaning on your arm). The tiny ones don't need the flaps they are small enough just the base with magnets holds firm.

There are lots of systems now that lock on to a ring around your fuel cap, these probably work better than magnets and render all my above waffle obsolete.

Bah, i can't find what i want, and the ones that lock to the petrol cap are too big. Ended up getting a RAM mount for petrol cap, and xgrip for phone, to go on it, have a telefrizer mount on the top nut for go pro. Battery pack has 2 usb ports, and will charge both for the 300 mile commute :O

Kriega all the way.

It's not cheap stuff but it is by far the best you can buy.

Check out Autokicker on Amazon , it's a lesser known brand without the premium price tag . I've got a small tailpack which straps around under the seat ,It;s really well made and IMHO is a cracking product , not got any experience of their magnetic tank bags , though it might be worth a look .

Not Magnetic , the strap on version :o https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autokicker-Tankstation-Holder-Motorbikes-Motorcycles/dp/B00JHNYJV2/ref=sr_1_7?crid=1B18OR6JAHX75&keywords=autokicker+tank+bag&qid=1552505413&s=gateway&sprefix=autokicker+%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-7

I have used over winter an Oxford X30, don't know if this will be to big for what you want it will expand to fit a helmet, I have it small sandwich and drink for work, have had no problem with it sticking in place with only 4 magnets, at work I stick it with only 1 flap 2 magnets to the lockers and if I try pulling it the lockers move, have ridden without header strap as well, no leaks all good
