After a fair bit of thought I decided I'm to old (read out of shape) to really enjoy a motocross bike so sold my KTM (for a nice profit) and also sold my moto guzzi as I got fed up with fixing it, I combined the cash and brought a 2002 suzuki Volusia 800 just imported from sunny Florida by an import company in Salisbury (I went to look at a goldwing and brought this instead) It's in near immaculate condition with every extra imaginable and LOTS of shiny chrome to keep me busy in the garage on rainy days. Been out on it today and whist it's not as comfortable as the triumph for long rides it is very nice to ride. Only thing I MAY change is the exhaust as my God it's loud ;)

Nice, looks really good. Except for that thing covering the brake caliper...... that looks odd (I'm assuming it's a cover not just a very strange caliper).

its just a cover, I think someone decided there wasn't enough shininess on the bike so added a bit more lol.

Im not sure yet as don't want to offend as it really is loud, it's got no baffles at all in the exhaust lol. I think il prob ride the triumph and use this for a shorter outing on the next Haynes brekkie.

Looks immaculate, like you say a lot of polishing there mate. Look forward to seeing and (Hearing) it on the next ride out you can make.

Just get a few litres of Fordson Tractor yellow and a 6" brush - that'll sort it out.
